Have you ever dreamed about having a yacht, a private yet or a helicopter?

Have you done the math? Not only about the price of any of these objects, but about how much it would cost to own it per year?

Anyway, everyday I get some newsletters about different topics and everyday I read them. In one of these newsletters I found a very interesting article at CNN Money.

I can just say that, as one of the comments say there, I hope some of these folks also allocate some of their money to help people (or animals in need). Not only they would be contributing to improve (or save) some lives, but they would also feel (and look) good... not to mention it would help their taxes :P

By the way, have you heard about the Giving Pledge initiative? Some of the big shots like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, David Rockefeller, T. Bone Pickens, Barron Hilton, et al, are encouraging "the wealthiest individuals and families in America to commit to giving the majority of their wealth to philantrophy."

Sweet, huh? Seems that not only the regular folk is becoming more aware of his surroundings :))

Actually, some of the pledges are quite touching, don't you think?
